Washington Crossing the Delaware

Come learn all about the man and Commander-in-chief, George Washington. General Washington himself delivers an inspiring speech. Bring your digital camera or cell phone to photograph some up close and personal moments. Kathy will be on hand to answer all your questions.

• 1:00 pm GW and his soldiers will cross the river in Durham boats during the reenactment of the crossing at the Battle of Trenton. Open all day with vendors and museum from 10 AM to 4 PM (actual crossing at 1 PM)

Addt’l COST: $8 for adults, $4 for children age five to 11, and free for those under five (proceeds support future park programs) DETAILS: Troops row across the river in uniform just as they do on Christmas Day. In addition, special colonial-era activities and demonstrations throughout the historic village provide a full day of fun and learning.
